Check Engine Oil Level

Checking your car's oil level is one of the important steps in keeping your engine running properly. Only when the amount of engine oil is sufficient can it effectively lubricate the engine, reduce wear and extend engine life. So, how should car engine oil be checked? Here are some simple steps:

1. Open the engine compartment of the car and find the handle of the oil dipstick.

2. Pull out the oil dipstick and use a paper towel to wipe clean the oil stuck on the head of the oil dipstick. Be careful to wipe it clean so that you can see the scale mark on the oil dipstick clearly.

3. Re-insert the cleaned engine oil dipstick to its original position, making sure to insert it all the way.

4. Pull out the oil dipstick again and observe the oil stuck on the oil dipstick. If it is found that the oil level is between the minimum and maximum scales, it means that the amount of oil is sufficient and there is no need to add it. But if you find that the amount of engine oil is less than the minimum mark, you need to add engine oil in time.

In general, it is very important to regularly check the amount of engine oil in your car to ensure the normal operation of the engine and extend the service life of the car. At the same time, you should also pay attention to choosing the engine oil suitable for your car model and follow the correct replacement cycle.
